Eames for Herman Miller Rocker

I'm having an internal debate on whether or not to buy this Eames for Herman Miller chair. It's up on the Sit and Read Furniture blog, but it probably won't be available for long. Decisions, decisions...

Obsessed: Rachel Comey Shoes

L-O-V-E. Love Rachel Comey's beautiful shoes. I found a great selection of them at Creatures of Comfort's site. Her shoes are a dream. I love how unusual they are, and yet how simple, classic, and clean. This is how not to look like everyone else on the L train.

Screen-Printed Bags by Alexandra Cassantini

I like these hand-screened bags by Alexandra Cassantini, which, according to her website, are "CONSTRUCTED IN MINNESOTA BY MEN WHO SHOOT CANNONS IN THE WOODS AND CANOE DOWN FREEZING RIVERS." Who am I to argue with that? Check out more of her stuff here.

Aritst: Andrew Kuo

I am really into New York City artist Andrew Kuo's work. You can check out more of his work posted at his website here. And his googly-eyed Morrissey T-shirt is too funny. Take a look here.

Erie Basin Georgian Diamond Ring

What a fantastic ring! The top is from the early 1880s and the gold band is contemporary. I found this on the website of Erie Basin, a store in Red Hook (Brooklyn). Really lovely and totally unique. Um, can you say awesome engagement ring? Cough, cough... Take a look here.

See by Chloe: Patent Broad Woven Flat Sandal

Be still my heart. Another cute pair of woven black sandals, this time full-on in black patent leather brought to us by See by Chloe. These guys are darling. Check them out here.

Belle by Sigerson Morrison: Crisscross Flat Sandals with Weave

I love these Belle by Sigerson Morrison sandals so much. I definitely have a thing for ikat, and the patent leather weave detail on the straps is subtle and super chic. Will these be my summer 09 sandals? Perhaps so... Check them out here.

Bensimon Sneakers

I am not a sneaker kind of girl. The last pair of sneakers I owned and wore were a pair of low-top black-on-black Converses, and that was a long time ago (in college). But there are days when a pair of comfy sneakers are really the best option (a long walk, a bike ride, or other activities for which ballet flats will just not suffice). These Bensimon lace-ups are exactly what I have been looking for: clean, simple, not too obvious, not too dowdy, and classic. They're French, but they're available in the States at Jumelle in Williamsburg. Check them out here.

Sunshine & Shadow

I am digging the Sunshine & Shadow Spring/Summer 09 collection. Take a look here.

F Troupe Elastic Sandal

These F Troupe sandals are great. Cute, simple, and cool. They come in red, navy, and black. They can be yours for a cool $116, and you can buy them here.
