Pendleton Blankets

My boyfriend and I have problems. We are afraid of color. Both our apartment and our wardrobes are evidence of that. Black, gray, white, maybe some blue . . . but that's pretty much it. We both share an appreciation for uncomplicated minimalism, and this aesthetic certainly guides our sartorial as well as our decorative decisions. However, I've been thinking that maybe it's time to add a bit of color to our lives.

These Pendleton blankets seem like a good way to add a splash of color while still maintaining the bold aesthetic we prefer. Draping one of these babies over the back of the couch would look cozy and cool. Plus the proceeds from these two blankets go to the American Indian College Fund. Christmas 2009? I think so . . .
